Stop jQuery loading in Wordpress

If, like me, you use Wordpress a lot, and you use MooTools as your main javascript library, you’ll probably have noticed that Wordpress calls the jQuery library automatically.

HTML5 runnin’ wild

It has been far too long since my last post. Reasons for this? Well I bought a new house which is cool and I got a new job which is also cool. Mix that with a splash of laziness and you get three months without writing. So what’s been going on?

I redesigned this site in November, which gave me the chance to use ExpressionEngine. I quickly grow bored of the things I do for myself so I fancied another redesign and this time around I wanted to use HTML5 and see what it was all the fuss was about.

I had needed to redesign my site and get a blog going for sometime. I have made several sites using Wordpress so this time I wanted to try another CMS. Textpattern was an option but in the end I went with ExpressionEngine which recently seemed to be getting a fair bit of exposure.
